My 4 yrs old boy is highly manipulative and plays favorites with mom and dad. Is this normal child behavior!

As a preschool teacher, I can say that this is very common among children aged 4. One of their developmental milestones is to be able to make personal preference and I think your boy has hit that milestone 🙂 Not to worry Daddy, just enjoy the cute moment and you do what you think is right 🙂 It is also important as they are learning to recognise what's wrong and right at this age too. So if you feel any action of his is inappropriate, have a small chat with him and teach him to understand about appropriate social behaviours. Good luck! 👍
