My 2-year-old boy has been sleeping late eg 10pm and wakes up as early as 7am. I'm concerned that he may not get sufficient sleep. Any suggestions to coax him sleep earlier?

Here is a general guide on the sleep amount for children: http://www.webmd.com/parenting/guide/sleep-children 1-4months: 14-15hours 4-12 months: 14-15hours (most get about 12hours) 1-3 years: 12-14hours (most get about 10hours) 3-6 years: 10-12hours (most get about 9hours) Your boy sleeps about 9 hours. Does he take nap in the afternoon? If he does take nap for 1 to 2 hours then it is considered sufficient. If he doesn't take nap, and he seems to appear tiring during daytime, try to shift bedtime one hour earlier by tucking him into bed earlier.
