Hi mummies, what can i do if my 9-month old baby refuse to drink milk? He is on similac total comfort.
Did you just started him on formula? Is he taking well to solids? Is he alright with the bottle? Find out the reason why is he refusing milk if this is a sudden change. Not sure what exactly is the cause. Perhaps you can try feeding him using a cup to see if it an issue with the bottle? Or try a different brand to see if it's the taste? Just some suggestions for you to consider.

Might be some reasons: teething or he needs more solid food. U can try give him the Friso rice base milk cereal. There's no need to add any milk and it is not so sweet. Try mix it to the right consistency instead of watery. Another point is u can let him try other brands of milk however do allow a few days to monitor for every changes you had made.

Im still thinking isit a gd idea to change milk. He has been feeding on similar total comfort since birth.
There are many reasons when LO refused milk. Check whether he is well; bloated stomach, wind, stomach churning etc. Also, ensure that the bottle teat is suitable as some 9 mths old are impatient to have their milk flowing out so slowly. If ur LO is on semi solid, he might be rejecting milk coz he likes his semi solid more? :)

Porridge still ok. Sometimes also rejecting porridge. He is rather a very small eater. Any new food he will try to eat, but after awhile he will reject again.

There isint any changes since newborn. He has been drinking very little since young. Only recently he totally doesnt like to drink milk. Didnt change formula or milk bottle. But he likes his tidbits(Gerber) though.
Can milk powder, change teats, change bottle, spoon feed, use sippy or straw cup. If all didn't works your baby is on bottle strike and its a phase. It will be over soon.
Hello, I realized that for similac total comfort powder seems harder to dissolve. Any ways to make it dissolve without shaking the bottle too many times? TIA
Have you tried soya milk? Goat milk? Otherwise your LO can already start solid food and you can look up recipes with all the nutrients and vitamins...

Yes teething, upper two teeth. His milk intake since newborn has been very little. Now currently 1-2x abt 80-180 varies and depends on his mood. Gt once he rejected milk for consecutive 2days
Try changing? He’s 9 months can change if he still refuses Sippy? Is it the teats?
