Ringing bell

Hi mummies, just wanna clarify and clear my worries. Isit normal for a 3 months old baby not responding to ringing bell? And may i know, at what age (specifically) does a baby respond to ringing bell?

Best to consult your paeditrician...just to be sure so you can take immediate course of action or breathe a sigh of relief...I hope all is well.. take care 🙏

Super Mum

There are other ways you can test.. like if baby cries when the door slams/there’s a loud sound.. or whether baby responds to you talking/singing/playing.

By 3 months babies should recognise the sound...see if the baby reacts to noises or when the door is slammed if gets scared

By 3 or 4 months of age, babies are usually able to turn their heads toward a sound. You may wish to consult a pediatrician.

My baby didnt turn to ringing bell for her first time check too. But for the next followup appt, she responded. I knew it was ok bcz my baby sometimes like to ignore us for some reason. Hope yours will be ok too.
