Wounds healing

Hi mummies, is it normal to feel painful when pee after going through natural delivery? Consulted my gynae as im worried it could be UTI, bur according to her because there’s wounds around that area hence the discomfort.

Hi it’s normal. I had longer wound as my Gynae had to cut more as my first born head can’t be pushed out n I was having bad cough during that period. The wound will take time to heal. I bought an inflatable float to sit on during my first month as I can’t simply sit on a chair. Take care and stay strong!

it's normal, I had a episiotomy on last sat, till now the wound still hurts. my pain peak when I'm home on wed/Thur. best part is after epidural wear off, non of the pain killer (tramadol, paracetamol) works for me in pain relief, so I stop taking after a day.

I think the 1st urine is painful, but subsequent is ok. I just take painkiller and after awhile is ok. Let ur gynae check too. If she give the clearance, then all is good .

Don't worry, it will take a while and there won't be any pain. Rest well during confinement! :)

Yup normal because of the perineum tear during delivery.
