You need not be worried. Its quite the opposite really. The more baby sleeps the better he can develop. As they grow their sleep pattern changes and the hours decreases...even now as adults we are supposed to have 8hrs sleep ideally and as you age it gets lesser 4-6hrs with multiple power naps in daytime 👵

11-12 hours is perfectly normal for that age:) don’t worry
