You can consider heat rubs. usually i will just do stretching to relieve the cramping muscles and pulling pain.

I had the same problem. what I did was stretching and walking. Massaging also helped. I applied heatrub.

I just massage on my own or take a hot hot shower. It helps to loosen and relax muscles
