mommies please help
For sudden diarrhoea/vomiting in baby, do you go urgent care or just monitor at home first?

As a first-time mom, I understand the worry and panic. The first time I encountered this situation, I rushed my baby to the pediatrician. However, the doctor reassured me to monitor at home instead. I learned to check for signs like hydration, alertness, and feeding. If those are okay, home monitoring is often sufficient. If symptoms worsen or something feels off, it’s important to seek care. Trust your instincts, but also rely on your pediatrician’s guidance to ease your nerves.

My PD always says to monitor hydration. If baby still got tears, wet diapers, and drinking, can observe. But if no pee or too drowsy, must go hospital already. Don’t wait too long.
Depends how serious lor. One or two times only I’ll just observe. But if keep happening within the hour, no choice, must see doctor.
I will monitor first. However, if the diarrhoea and vomiting are very persistent then I will bring to the PD immediately.
Happened to my girl last time 😭 I thought small issue only but end up she got mild dehydration. No need to guess lah.
I always trust my gut one, if something feels off, I rather just bring baby in.
Go urgent care don't wait anymore for anything bad to happen
Could be stomach flu
