hmm. i would say while u can endure? Becos i had epidural, i took the chicken essence about 9cm dilated. I guess it won't affect. But most midwives won't encourage you to eat or drink due to side effects (vomiting)

I drank coconut water for energy. About 8cm dilated i drink it before i was in too much pain to consume anything

I never drank all that. There is no prove to say drinking will help. i guess its to each its own.
