Hi mummies! Can i check why did my doctor ask me to go for membrane sweep at week 35? I am not dilating yet

usually membrane sweep done when almost due, not sure why yours so early
is it a membrane sweep or a gbs test? gbs is tested ~w35

A vagina swab to test whether theres this gbs bacteria present. I also had that swab at wk 35
