Membrane Sweep

Am 39w5d today. Had bloody show this morning followed by diarrhea kind of stomach ache. Went to KKH Delivery Suite at 3pm to check if cervix is dilated. Was only 2cm dilated and gynae did membrane sweep, then was told to go home as I didn't want to be induced. Gynae said to look out for labour symptoms within the next few days. If still no symptoms, have to be induced on Mon. What is the success rate of the membrane sweep and how long after membrane sweep did you go into labour? I don't want to be induced.
