Delivery at Thompson medical VS NUH/KKH private.

Hello mummies, first time pregnancy here. Currently in subsidised route at KKH but planning to change to private for delivery. Anyone knows if the pricing is significantly different? (Opting for normal birth). Additionally, as long as baby and I are doing fine I’m ok to stick to subsidised route until before delivery.  Some of my friends say there is a personal touch with private, is there really a difference? The price for usual check ups/tests at subsidise clinic vs TMC wasn’t far off too. Can someone share what is actually the difference please? :)

With KKH it depends if there is availability on the bed that you book for. A friend of mine wanted a private room but because she gave birth a week early and the private room was not available yet, she had to be placed in a 4 bed. But depending on your OBGYN, if you’re sticking to the same OBGYN - check if they deliver at other hospitals as well.
