KKH or Private KKH

I’m currently going KKH for my appointments & I heard a lot mummies would change from subsidised to private KKH for delivery. I would like to check the price difference especially when I want a a single ward for myself & I wasn’t sure if subsidised i able to get single ward.

I started as a subsidised patient. For delivery I wanted class A ward so KKH had to switch me to be a private patient. But unfortunately it was fully booked so I took class B1 instead. Because I took B1, I'm charged as a private patient. I went thru normal delivery with epidural, total cost is about $7.5k. Subsidize patient can request for class A ward, subject to their availability but you'll be charged as a private patient.
