Walking and standing with no support difficulties

Hi mummies! 😇 my baby, at 1 year old cannot walk and stand without support 😓. Should I be worried?

1yo (50th centile, so not all) should be able to stand without support and walk with handholding, but not a red flag yet as long as able to stand WITH support. Walking independently should come in only by around 15 months old. If you’re concerned, can always see a doctor but your 12 months old developmental assessment w the polyclinic should be coming up based on National guidelines :) Most likely they’ll just review standing and walking again in 3months’ time to make sure baby achieved both standing without support and walking without support by 15 months. In short - not a red flag yet in general, but do go for your 12 months DA appointment as scheduled and they’ll advise you accordingly :)
