hi mummies, anyone here with gestational diabetes? Can it be cured?
Depends on genes too. Some stayed despite strict control due to genes that runs in the family. Just be positive and hope for the best :)
cut down on sweet things, eat a healthy diet, exercise more, swimming is good since it's a low impact exercise for pregnant mommies.
I had too during pregnancy. Just try your best to cut down sweet stuff. I cleared mine after 6 weeks pp check up.
My understanding is it might be gone with the pregnancy. But you have to be careful now cause your diet is impt

I had gestational diabetes but with proper exercise and nutrition it disappeared after I gave birth.
Will usually go off aft giving birth bt need to take care of your diet and exercise
Me, but it can’t be “cured”, just hope it goes away after baby is born.
My colleague cleared it after giving birth (the appt she went for Pap smear)
yes i have GD when i was pregnant , it all goes away after the baby is born.
After childbirth no more... provided u control it well during pregnancy...
