Disappointment and sadness when baby chooses maincaregiver instead of mummy

Hi mummies anyone feel that disappointment and sadness when baby choose maincaregiver instead of mummy? How do u get over that emotionally? Baby just fall sick recently brought him to gp and he was crying hysterically while the doc do their checks. Prior to this he has always chosen me over maincaregiver I feel that the incident has indirectly resulted in his behavior of choosing caregiver over me.
