I've read some tips from a breastfeeding group. For inverted nipples. they suggest the use of breast shells, breast pump or syringe. Here's a site for breastfeeding basics when you have a flat or inverted nipples: https://www.breastfeedingbasics.com/articles/flat-or-inverted-nipples

I don't have an inverted nipple, but I have a flat one. What the lactation consultant did is use a syringe to suck the nipple before I feed the baby on our first couple of days after birth. Then the nipple come out after that, without the use of syringe.

Same with Joey, the lactation consultant also used syringe to initially suck my nipple. Then after a few days, baby can feed without using syringe before feeding.
