STI
Hi mommies.. when I was 5weeks pregnant I took Cefuroxime for my UTI. After one week of medication I had my urine test and my UTI got even worse, it showed in my result that I had Trichomonasis Viganalis which is STI. My OB-Gyn prescribed Metronidazole for the treatment. I'm still worried for my baby though even I had no more discharge which is very good as per my OB-Gyn. Just wanna ask who's here had the same infection like me? Thank You in advance! Btw, I'm 12 weeks pregnant now :)
Ako sis currently nakita sa urinalysis ko na may trichomonasis vaginalis ako and pabalik balik din yung UTI ko. Ang ginawa ng doctor ko is may ininject sa pige ko na antibiotic ( ceftriaxone ) kami ni partner ko then nagtake kami ng 1 gram ng azithromycin then continous ko lang iniinom ngayon yung cerufoxime. Pag may trichomonasis kasi need na both kayo ng partner mo magpapacheck and maggagamot para di pabalik balik. More on water. Iwas sa salty and fatty foods din. 13 weeks preggy here. Next week magpapaurinalysis ako to check if nawala yung trichomonasis. Basta take mo lang yung iprescribed ng OB mo na gamot. Ako kasi sa 2nd baby ko pabalik balik din UTI ko pero healthy naman sha ngayon. 😊

Nagkaroon ako ng uti during my 3rd trimester. lampas 100 yung wbc ko then nag take ako cefuroxime tapos nung chineck yung result ng papsmear ko niresetahan ako ng metronidazole pati partner ko 4na tablet isang take lang. Tas after naman nun nagkaroon ako ng yeast infection. 7months na baby ko now okay naman siya.

Nag ka uti den ako 1 week ako nag antibiotic tas nag pa lab test ulit ako mas tumaas sya , may resita pa ulit ob ko saken na antibiotic diko na tinuloy nag buko nalang ako every morning at more on water nawala sya.
When I was pregnant, I had uti for the whole trimester. I was taking different antibiotics because of different bacterias I have during those times. Thank God, I delivered a healthy baby. 😊

more on water ka mamsh and buko po, iwas sa salty foods nagka ganyan din ako uti and nakitaan ng trichomoniasis. sundin mo lang ob mo sa binibigay na gamot. trichomoniasis ko nawala
ano po ginawang test sainyo non nung na trace pong may trichomoniasis ka po?
Hello, I have the same infection like yours, but I don't still go to OB, is it safe to drink medicine, like Metronidazole for pregnant?
parehas po tayo sis 12 weeks nag ka trichomonas aq. .. metrodinazole nireseta skin .. kamusta ka ngaun mamshie ?
panu nalaman na ganun.. nung nagpa urinalysis ako wla nakalagay.. pero may nirestang antibiotic..
Ako din nagka uti, niresetahan ako ng antibiotic for 1 week, bukas uumpisahan ko na
same lng.. may pinsan kc ako pinainum ng antibiotic kc my uti cia.. 7 days dn.. ayun nagka hydrocephalus yung baby.. katwiran Nia yun ang sbe ng doctor.. kya natatakot ako..
normal naman po basta follow po ang ob
