STI

Hi mommies.. when I was 5weeks pregnant I took Cefuroxime for my UTI. After one week of medication I had my urine test and my UTI got even worse, it showed in my result that I had Trichomonasis Viganalis which is STI. My OB-Gyn prescribed Metronidazole for the treatment. I'm still worried for my baby though even I had no more discharge which is very good as per my OB-Gyn. Just wanna ask who's here had the same infection like me? Thank You in advance! Btw, I'm 12 weeks pregnant now :)

Hi mamsh! Nagkaroon ako ng uti during my 3rd trimester. lampas 100 yung wbc ko then nag take ako cefuroxime tapos nung chineck yung result ng papsmear ko niresetahan ako ng metronidazole pati partner ko 4na tablet isang take lang. Tas after naman nun nagkaroon ako ng yeast infection. 7months na baby ko now okay naman siya.

hi mami? normal urinalysis lang po ginawa sainyo na trace na po na meron kayong trich?
