STI

Hi mommies.. when I was 5weeks pregnant I took Cefuroxime for my UTI. After one week of medication I had my urine test and my UTI got even worse, it showed in my result that I had Trichomonasis Viganalis which is STI. My OB-Gyn prescribed Metronidazole for the treatment. I'm still worried for my baby though even I had no more discharge which is very good as per my OB-Gyn. Just wanna ask who's here had the same infection like me? Thank You in advance! Btw, I'm 12 weeks pregnant now :)

Ako sis currently nakita sa urinalysis ko na may trichomonasis vaginalis ako and pabalik balik din yung UTI ko. Ang ginawa ng doctor ko is may ininject sa pige ko na antibiotic ( ceftriaxone ) kami ni partner ko then nagtake kami ng 1 gram ng azithromycin then continous ko lang iniinom ngayon yung cerufoxime. Pag may trichomonasis kasi need na both kayo ng partner mo magpapacheck and maggagamot para di pabalik balik. More on water. Iwas sa salty and fatty foods din. 13 weeks preggy here. Next week magpapaurinalysis ako to check if nawala yung trichomonasis. Basta take mo lang yung iprescribed ng OB mo na gamot. Ako kasi sa 2nd baby ko pabalik balik din UTI ko pero healthy naman sha ngayon. 😊
