Placenta Previa

Placenta previa (pluh-SEN-tuh PREH-vee-uh) occurs when a baby's placenta partially or totally covers the mother's cervix — the outlet for the uterus. Placenta previa can cause severe bleeding during pregnancy and delivery. If you have placenta previa, you might bleed throughout your pregnancy and during your delivery. Your health care provider will recommend avoiding activities that might cause contractions, including having sex, douching, using tampons, or engaging in activities that can increase your risk of bleeding, such as running, squatting, and jumping. You'll need a C-section to deliver your baby if the placenta previa doesn't resolve.

Placenta previa ako at 14 weeks. Nagresolve siya pagka 21 weeks. I had several bleeding episodes and may 1 time na nagpremature contractions ako. Kinailangan akong injectionan ng muscle relaxant para di mag-open ang cervix ko. Okay naman si baby the whole time, good fetal heart beat and movement. Career sa pagbedrest talaga, naglalagay ako unan sa paa as per advice of my OB. And prayers momsh.

sa first baby ko sis placenta previa ung case ko, 7months nanganak na ko kasi nagbleed na ko naincubator si baby ng 7days pero okay naman pati new born screening nya okay naman result, ngayon 8years old na sya

Ako din bed rest pero may bleeding pa rin kaya binabantayan ko.Humingi lang muna me gamot sa OB ko ayaw ko kasi magpa confine..pero high lying naman ang placenta ko,siguro sa gawain lang sa bahay pagod siguro.

placenta previa din ako. nag bleed nako 4 na besis pero spotting lang patak patak minsan meron minsan wala. 7months pregnant now sana umikot na sya.
