Baby kick count record

Hi mommies, I have started to record baby kick count at 28 weeks. During my check up with KK nurse, she said I record wrongly. Cos to my understanding I thought between 9am-7pm the time they stated, as long 10 kicks can already. But the nurse told me have to start at 9am then end at any time before 7pm. So I wanna double confirm whether I understand her correctly or not bcos I'm not fluent in BM & she only can explained in BM. So I only can aga aga. So in conclusion, have to start at 9am, then once have 10 kicks can conclude the record right? Just need to record once a day right? For mommies checking up at KK.

I never count it like that. I started counting after I woke up. For example, if that day I woke up at 10am and baby's kicking me at 1025am, I put the timing at 1025am. And I only count the hard kick. If slow slow kick i did not count it. And if the baby kicking me few times in a minute, I still count as 1 kick. Of I completed 10 hard kick at 815pm, I put the ending time 815pm. As long as in 12 hours, you completed 10 kicks. My nurse like it that way. Because she said that I am more honest in taking care of my baby kicks. Here is my baby kick column if you want to get better idea of it

I also do it your way but she don't like it😅 I told her I don't wake up at 9am & sometimes if im outside I will start at later time. she insisted to start at 9am😅

yep kicking count starts from 9am. the gap between kick count is 25-30min. meaning that if the first kick u felt is 9:10am, the second will be around 9:35am..if u felt any kick between 9:10am-9:35am...it will count as 1 kick only. repeat the process until u get complete 10 kicks. if u have difficulty feeling the baby kicks during the daytime, set the timer at the phone. when the time comes, sit and relax, can press lighty ur belly or drink chilled water to trigger bby movement.
