Bleeding in first trimester

Update: I lost my little one, naturally I passed the baby I held him/her in my arms and said our goodbyes(9 weeks). Even though it wad short, I'm blessed yo have been pregnant. Thank you all for the encouragement and positivity. Please pray for me and my little Angel in heaven! ❤ Hi ladies, I'm a first time mom. Currently 7w.On 21/09 I had some bleeding with a small clot and followed by spotting. Rushed to a&e, did a vaginal ultrasound. Gyne said, baby was fine heart beat was alright. I asked if I had any visible clots which is now bleeding. She couldn't see anything she said. I was given 3 days mc and prescribed to take dhupston 3x a day. As of today Its been 4 days. I still have light bleeding and spotting but mostly dark red or brownish with small clots. No pain just light cramping and lower back pain. I have been very worried and upset. I did some mild sorting of my make-up, earrings to keep my mind off this . Have been resting most of the time. Sleeping and just laying on couch. My current job has no wfh option, just recently I took up a new offer in a company which allows wfh. In the long run it will be useful and convenient for me when I progress in my pregnancy. I don't think I have any kind of stress. My mind is quite clear. I still am not sure if all these are contributing factors. Has anyone experienced anything similar . How long does the bleeding take to stop after taking duphaston. Please share anything that you know. It will help me to calm my nerves and give me some positive thoughts. :(( #1stimemom #pleasehelp #advicepls #pregnancy

Hello! I had bleeding for about 2 more weeks after starting duphaston at 6+ weeks! Gynae then also still told me to continue taking it till end of first tri :) She says its to help make the lining support baby better. I know its hard. I was stressing all the way until the end of first tri and even after that I would always be checking for any bleeding after I use the toilet. Perhaps talk to your husband/close friends about it? I always talked to my husband whenever I was having doubts (esp after googling so much nonsense, please do not use google and scare youself!!), and i think it helps to lighten the mental load. And yes its good that you are trying to distract yourself with something else! Do continue to do so :) Jiayou mummy 💪🏻 hang in there, wishing you all the best :)
