Kind of out of topic... A friend of mine is really upset that her 15 year old dog is dying. How do I console her? I'm not a pet lover myself so not sure how to react. Anyone been in the same situation?

ive been through this issue before. grieving over pets dying and your human love ones dying is more or less the same. spend more time together if possible, make its last days as comfortable as possible. take pictures together if shes comfortable with it. coz this is the only memories she will have. cry if need to but be thankful that at least shes is aware of her pet condition.
