Speech delay

i dont know how i know it pero i was concerned with my child's speech when she was 1yo and so months (early pa ang 1yo, 1mo). yes, she can say some words but not to what is expected. she should have said number of words. i monitor speech development using this app, kung ilang words na dapat ang sabihin ng bata at a certain age. so i did speech therapy sa child ko at home. eventually, ang dami na niang words na alam. at 2yo, ang concern ko naman is hindi pa sia nakaka sentences. sabi kasi ng pedia, dapat she can speak simple sentences. so i started her to teach in sentences kaso ang concern ko is nag-echolalia sia. so we seek advice from therapy center. based sa assessment nila, she does not need speech therapy kasi clear ang words nia. recommended nila is playschool na lang to improve socialization and communication. ung playschool nia is in the therapy center na rin so they are trained. hindi sia ung playschool lang dahil they know how to correct the child according sa needs nia. weve been to a playschool before kaso hindi tutok ang approach, more on play. ok sia kaso it did not fit for my child's need. this time, kahit playschool sia with classmates, one on one ang turo per activity. they taught us also to teach my child on how to say sentences din. shes 3yo now, she can speak in sentences na. yes its pricey, pero its worth it for my child's early intervention.
