Is it okay to drive a car during the first trimester of pregnancy?

Yes, I drive during my first trimester. Make sure you wear safety belt all the times and drive slower. Now I am in my 3rd trimester, I find quite stressful to drive as the tummy is getting bigger and thus I reduce my driving and take cabs instead. However, if you have any pregnancy complications, e.g. bleeding or threaten miscarriage, it is best not to drive as stress during driving will cause further complications. Do check with your gynae whether it is safe to drive during 1st trimester.

Definitely! Driving does not affect the fetus Our babies are very well protected in our womb with the water level. The vibration from the car engine, will not affect the baby inside.

Agree with Jorelle and Dianna's comments... its perfectly fine to drive during pregancy...It won't affect baby nor mummy...yes do stop if you have complications to avoid stress..

It’s ok to drive car during the first pregnancy as long as u don’t feel giddy or nauseous. :)
