sleeping positions

Im on week 28 now and expecting twins. I have been sleeping on my side since the 4th mth and although i had to wake up every time to change position, i was still able to sleep. Now it hurts for me to change positions and i get really breathless aft changing from right to left or vice versa. Is this normal?
