Buying a used but renowned brand baby car seat
i'm planning to get a car seat for my baby but not to put a lot of cash on it. looking at some used branded car seat that costs thousands at only few hundred (with good condition). what do you think?
Don't forget when using preloved child safety seats, some of the questions you need to ask are: 1. Has the car seat been in an accident? 2. Is the car seat expired? 3. Has it been washed according to manufacturer's instructions? (ie, not steamed cleaned, harness not soaked in water, no harsh chemicals, etc) 4. Are there any signs of damage? (Fraying of harness, broken pieces, rust, etc) If you're unsure with the answer for any of these questions, it's better to buy a new carseat if your budget permits. Baca lagiPls don't buy second hand. There are car seats that cost few hundred only and is tested for crash test. Pls go test it with your baby and your car.
