I too had sashimi craving, you can try avocado w soya sauce somehow it tasted very much like sashimi (to me) it might work for you too. NOT ADVISABLE but i also had sashimi when I was pregnant w my #1 and all went well and baby came out healthy but I went to a omakase where they cut the sashimi fresh but I don’t dare to eat those supermarket kind Hope this helps! :)

Advice against raw salmon even if sashimi grade, especially when you’re just in your first trimester. Not a good example myself, I too craved badly for sushi during my pregnancy. I “compromised” by having aburi (fire torched) sushi. Mostly cooked but with a slight undercook and it satisfied my cravings. Hope it helps, but eat at your own risk!

thank you for this suggestion and would try aburi salmon sushi at my own risk. im that desperate for that sashimi taste 😅
