What comprehensive prenatal test

I’m at my 8th week pregnancy. Doctor was going through prenatal test (Harmony test + sexual defect test) and also option of a more comprehensive test (sorry I wasn’t told the test name) which can detect other chromosome abnormalities (but very rare kind). Doctor did mention that it’s an option to do the comprehensive one and they are very rare like some are 1 in 500k! Since I’m 36 years old this year, (not young lol) I’m quite worried about fetus health. Anyone been through the comprehensive test?

i did NIPT and trust me the time to wait for the results was jittery. however when results were out it really gives me peace of mind and you can also know the gender early! if financially you can afford i will strongly recommend. plus, knowing gender can also let you have the time and fun to plan for gender reveal party :)

I am 1981 so turning 41, first time mum, and I did the comprehensive panorama one, cos (1) it’s 99% accurate and (2) they use blood tests instead of just measurements to gauge if your baby has genetic disorders. U can also find out the gender. I think it was 1k vs $600 so I decided it was worth spending a bit more.

im 36 too. just did fts. or some say Oscar test. no issues. subsidised. tgt with my annetal blood tests... only cost me 249.

I just did NIPT, paid for the full test.. cost about 1k, but will recommend to do it for the peace of mind if you dont mind paying.

yes a lot of mummies have. is it NIPT? if your finances can afford it, do it for the peace of mind

I did the comprehensive NIPT by igene. 😂

Best to do the test cos we are not young.
