CDH

I'm 5 months pregnant. Doc diagnosed that my son is having CDH. Means diaphragmatical hernia. Ade parents yg pernah experience this. Help me please ?

Hi. I have experience regarding CDH but not as a mother.. I'm NICU nurse.. got few type of CDH whether its mild,moderate or severe, most of the case we will support with oxygen therapy so that can helps the baby to continue living till doctors decided when to do operation to repair the hernia but some cases might not need repair if the hernia just very mild.. I suggest u to deliver your baby at the hospital that have full equipment & facilities & specialist bcoz 1 mistake can make your baby condition become worse. May god bless u & your baby.

Diaphragmatical hernia ni apa ye sis? Saya dh google dia tunjuk bahagian peparu..saya xberapa faham. Then doc gov ke yg detect masalah sis ni? Atau sis scan kt luar?

CDH ni bila organ2 lain masuk dalam ruangan paru2. Bole mnyebabkan paru2 tidak bole mngembang dgn sepenuhnya & buatkn pertumbuhan paru2 terbantut. Biasanya berlaku pada sebelah bahagian sahaja.

hi Ms, my son also CDH and I delivered him on 15/3. may I know your son's conditions now? my son still at NICU 😔
