Helper or full time mom

Hi. I am a working mom and currently in dilemma to quit work or be a SAHM. Does it make sense to get a maid during this time or be a SAHM? I am only bringing home less than 2k every month. Husband is capable of supporting me and 2 school going children.

To hire a helper, you’ll be paying about $1200-1500 a month. At this moment, it’s also pretty difficult to hire due to Covid restrictions. Is your husband able to shoulder the financial responsibility on his own if you choose to be a SAHM?

Oops. Forgot to mention this. Yes, he is able to. Perhaps you could share how much from start to end of process for a helper and the monthly fee/expenses for a helper if you have 1? =)
