oh...taking steroids is something that is definitely not good at any age, let alone at this age when your teen is developing at such a fast pace. the friend did good to inform you, but I think you shouldn't tell your teen the same. instead, trying talking to him about his sports and show a genuine interest. also, how is he able to get the same without your knowledge, in the sense that these are quite expensive, so he does need the money right? maybe you can take a look in his room one day when he isn't around and pretend that you found some stuff and would like to have a talk. please also involve your partner into this, and if required, speak to your son's sports coach.
