night terror with my toodler boy

I want to ask about my child's experience every night he wakes up from sleep and cries hysterically while he still feels sleepy. it made me tired every night calming him any solution?

how long has it been? some point of stage, they went through this. if it has been long. it may have to do with over stimulation before sleep
