Philips Avent Sterilize Steamer
Hi, I am using the above steamer. Every time once done, do you clean out the droplets in the bottle before making milk or straight away make milk with it? Thanks
The droplets are basically like boiled water, so it’s completely safe to use the bottles without wiping them. Also there’s no guarantee that the cloth or tissue you intend to use to wipe them are really clean. You might end up introducing bacteria back in the bottles.
I use it straightaway after shaking off the excess water in it. Those remaining water residue in the bottle which can’t be shaken off is still safe for baby to consume as it has been sterilized and any microorganism has been destroyed already.
Use it. The water is sterile and safe. If you clean it with cloth or other things you are making it dirty again. If you prefer having dry and sterilised articles, consider a uv steriliser
I use it straight. Just give a little shake before using.
