The 3 fishes u named are ok. I will steam them separately and then mash and add into the porridge before serving. I buy the fish in the morning from ntuc and then once home will cut into smaller portions, remove skin and check for bone if any then put into small containers and freeze the portions(the ones that I am not using that day itself). When I want to cook then I will take one container out to steam the fish in there. Can buy on any day but once buy use immediately / freeze whatever remaining immediately

Dear Jacinthia, thank you so much for the detailed sharing - exactly what I needed to know as I was clueless! :)

Usually i will buy from Wet Market. I will tell the Fish Monger to remove e bone. Only Fillet i would prefer. Bring home. I will wash it. I will cut about 3cm and placed it on e zip lock or container. Put in e Freezer. When i want to cook its easier for me. At least i dont waste. Choice of Fish: Salmon and Thredfin. You can steam the fish with some other vegetable, Fish Soup or Fish Porridge.

I bought from the Song Fish Wholesaler. Got them to cut into 1inch thick, they will individually seal pack for me, i will freeze it and take one daily to cook. For the fish bones, once a week i will boil the stock and freeze into small portion using milk bags and take one whenever i needed to cook

great idea re stock n using bm storage bags! thanks Jorelle mommy!

I buy salmon fillet, cook and freeze. You can steam the fish, add carrots and potatos and freeze, or other tyoes of vegetables in that way baby will have a nice balanced and healthy meal.

Ok noted. Thanks for sharing.

I bought threadfin, salmon and cod from the market. Every Tues and Friday morning will go to the market and buy 100g and ask the fish monger to portion into 3. It will last for 3 days.

Sounds good to me. Thank you for sharing! :)

Ooh thank you so much Indira. Much appreciated :)
