Contraceptive pill

Hi all, I have one question.. Last 24/8 I had unprotected intercourse with my husband then on 26/8 I took contraceptive pill (Escapell brand) I supposed to get my period yesterday but I haven't get it till now. I am having all those stomach cramps and pain as if I'm gonna have period but nothing comes. Can anyone advise me pls I am so worried

I'd suggest to do UPT first. If it comes out negative then your period might come late, but there is always possibilities of getting pregnant as contraceptive pills became less effective as time passes, even though you took the pill on the suggested time frame. We can never be too sure that it'll work.
