D&C after miscarriage at 6 weeks

I had a miscarriage and was ask to go for D&C today is the 7 days my bleeding did not stain on my pad only when I wipe. However each time I go pee I will see blood clot. Not very big clot probably a size of 50 cents or even smaller at time. Is this normal?
