Unsure if blood clot or miscarriage

Hi, I missed my menses. I wasn't feeling well, had a very backache, migrane & tend to get hungry every other hours which I don't usually for the past weeks. I took a panadol due to the migrane yesterday. Today , I decide to go for a pregnancy check up & just when I was abt to do my urine test, realise that I'm bleeding. So I guess, my menses came. When home & ate another panadol & menses cramp pill and realised there is a blood clot that look like a tissue layer about finger size which is unusual for me. I wonder if it's a miscarriage or just a blood clot. Anyone experience this before?
