CONGENITAL HEART DISEASE (Transposition of the Great Arteries)

I got pregnant with my 2nd child 12 yrs after. I was a single mom to my son for 11 yrs, but God didn't let me live alone and he wanted me to be happy kaya he gave me a husband na talaga namang natanggap ako ng buong buo. ❤️ So fast forward tayo, Nalaman kong buntis ako when I decided to go back to Singapore to look for another job. Kaya nga lang, nung andun ako. Na delayed ako ng 1 wk. which is not normal to me. Usually kasi matagal na yung 5 days. When I checked, ayun positive nga! We're having a baby! Kaya naman, umuwi ako ng Pilipinas at tinuloy ko ang work ko dito. Pero di nagtagal, nag quit ako sa work due to threaten abortion. Syempre mas mahalaga si baby. I was on bed rest for my 1st trimester. Had my regular check ups and vitamins. On my 2nd trimester mejo magaan pakiramdam ko, nakakagala naman ako pa minsan. And happy ako kasi normal ang congenital anomally scan nya. ? On my 3rd trimester, nag pre term labor naman ako. (Excited yata talaga lumabas) pero syempre di pa time kaya pinigilan ni doc. Was advised ulit to be on strict bed rest talaga. CR lang ang binabangunan ko talaga. Mahirap na. Nung dumating na yung araw na pinakahihintay namin. Di ko alam san ilalagay ang tuwa. Napakasaya ng mga puso naming mag asawa at ng pamilya ko. I gave birth to chubby cheek little baby girl last Sept 10, 2019. Ang taba nya! Napaka cute. Super grateful to God for the safe delivery and the gift of life. But, few hours after. They discovered something, she has a low O2 saturation (oxygen level sa blood) the pedia also heard a murmur sa heart nya. Sinuggest aagad to refer my baby to a pedia cardio. That time we were hoping that, that was nothing serious. The next day, she underwent series of test which showed CHD (Transposition of the Great Arteries) it is where her heart valves aren't conected to where it should be ,we were advised right then and there to prepare more than a million for the operation called ARTERIAL SWITCH OPERATION. Which is needed to be done on the 1st week of life. My world was shattered! Where in the world can we get a million pesos? Eh yung pang bayad ko hospital was lended by my brother. Pano pa yung bayad sa operation? Sa totoo lang di ko alam bakit? Lalo na unknown ang cause. Sinunod ko naman lahat ng sinabi ng doctor, check ups were regular and vitamins were taken consistently. Plus I am a nurse kaya maalaga talaga ako. Kaya nag pray na lang ako to God na gabayan ako, at sana kayanin ko. Dahil a month before I gave birth, my eldest was diagnosed naman with Rheumatic Heart Disease. Mahal na mahal ako ni Lord, dahil pinagka tiwala nya ang buhay ng 2 anak ko sakin. Sa una, di ko alam san kukuha ng pang tustos. Pero God is a great provider. He provided everything that we need! Plus I have a very supportive husband, son, sister, brother, parents and relatives who had been my great support system. Kaya kinaya ko ang lahat! ?? God is an answering God!
