I will be going back to work soon and my 2 mth old LO is starting IFC in a weeks' time but i still can't bottlefeed him no matter how i try. Tough for me, i'm the only one at home with him on weekdays, so i guess he'd rather go for the "real stuff" and will cry the whole house down when offered a bottle. Husb does help over the weekends but his patience level is super low that when LO starts crying, he asked to quickly offer the breasts. Any mummies successfully bottlefeed baby all by yourself? Can share your experience and tips? Thanks, Worried Mummy

I never managed to bottle feed. i let the IFC handle it. I will prepare both syringe and cup as a back up plan. I work with the IFC teachers. I tell them my problems. Withnin 3 days, my baby is able to drink from bottle. But only in school. once with me, she will refuse bottle.

My boy refuses any bottles unless direct latch. They are smart they will drink eventually at the IFC. not to worry. babies know when moms are around.

u need ur husband or any caregiver to feed ur baby with bottle, not u. they are smart and will reject bottle if they see you around.

What bottles have you tried? Sometimes babies are fussy with the type of teats used.
