Anyone suffering or had suffer from PPD? How are you coping?
I am feeling like i having postpartum depression?

Yes, I cried very badly after my confinement nanny left. I will cry uncontrollably and without any reason. I guessed might have frighten my husband at that time. I remembered feeling helpless and lonely as a first time parent and my hub even contracted covid and then I was also subsequently contracted too. And at the same time, dealing with our new born of waking up every 2 hours for milk. Plus, I went back to work after 2 months of maternity leave; working from home 3x per week. I was tired , very worn out. We were desperate as not much help from family and hired a helper and she was great. Did lighten our stress but still my PPD did not ease. Gradually I went back to my exercise routine that help me to clear my thoughts. Had a lot of conversation with my hub on my feelings too. My baby also has lesser night regression that help us sleep better at night. Took me more than 1 year to recover. Remember everything takes time and the truth is it takes a village to raise a child. Do rest whenever you can and seek help if you need it. Take care of yourself and remember everything will be fine :) My son is 17 month old now :))
