Housework after caesarean

How much housework do u do after caesarean? I do some light cooking, laundry, mopping the floor etc and my mum thinks it's too much haha. She says mummies are supposed to stay in bed to rest and recover during confinement period. But I have an 18mth old who needs to be fed and entertained at the same time so it seems impossible for me to really rest.

our mum era all same one.. must stay in bed, this cannot do, that cannot do.. but hor who help us do neh? lol listen to ur body is the best.. if u feel alright to do.. just go ahead.. nth wrong i feel.. we know our own body the best liao..

My toddler is 18m old too and I had a csect! So it’s impossible for me to rest. I still cook and clean toilets etc hahaah. As long as u feel comfortable!

Let me know how you cope with it. Im going for schedule csection this tuesday! The most worriest thing i can think of is my 16m old son :(
