Baby latching

How do mommies wean off baby from DL? I am trying to sleep train my baby to sleep on his own which he did already, but depends on his mood he sometimes cry out loud to latch to sleep. We pretty sure it’s not hunger. My biggest worry is when i stop bf he cannot adapt. Any tricks mommies?

I use ebm in bottles. Now at about 2 months, she is able to interchange between bottle and dl. I find that a test head that resembles the nipple helps this transition better. I'm using Philips avent natural teats with spectra ppsu bottles
