How many glasses of milk should a child have everyday to meet his calcium needs?

It really depends on the child’s age. Babies below one should not be given cow’s milk. For children between 1 to 2 years old, 2 to 3 cups of whole milk For children between 2 to 3 years old, at least 2 cups from dairy group (could include cow’s milk, soy milk, yogurt, cottage cheese etc) For children between 4 to 8, years old at least 2.5 cups from dairy group (could include cow’s milk, soy milk, yogurt, cottage cheese etc) For children older than 9 years old, at least 3 cups from dairy group (could include cow’s milk, soy milk, yogurt, cottage cheese etc) Guide taken from: http://healthyeating.sfgate.com/many-glasses-milk-should-kid-drink-1100.html
