Bloody show does not mean you'll go to labour immediately. Best to time your contractions. If it's too frequent 5-10 mins, then head down to the hospital. Otherwise you'll be asked to go home if you're not in an active labour.
I time my contractions and called the delivery suite right after. Was told to come down to hospital and I was already 4-5cm dilated.
