For a detailed plan, you can access my PhD thesis. I will give you an abridged version here. a) Assess your partner. Every person is different. A turn on for one might be a turnoff for other. Understand, observe and document the visual and non visual cues of happiness. Visual cues are smiling, laughing, giggling, twinkling eyes, relaxed shoulders, lack of agitation. non visual cues include the tone, longing for conversation, she touching your hand more than 3 times in an hour of conversation. b) understand your limits. Whilst there may be a lot of things that make her happy, you might have a few limitations. to successfully keep your mate happy, you have to understand that it is not a one time thing. you need to maintain and possibly increase the level of efforts. you cannot make a grand gesture and then tone it down. c) assess the surroundings. 60-70% of the notions of happiness are obtained by observing the surroundings. Your mate might respond differently to a similar situation if her surroundings (friends, siblings, rivals) are in a particular state of happiness/despair. It is your job to pivot her notion of happiness to actual happiness. d) prepare when you set the expectations right, you need to show commitment. when you are conversing, keep your phone aside. Develop genuine interest in her interests, or let her know your disinterest. DON'T FAKE INTEREST. You won't be able to keep up the appearance. Involve your mate in things that pleasure you. The best relationships are forged over common interests. Do some activities together that make both of you happy. e) Seek help and advice If you are lost or stuck, ask her where you are going wrong. Guy friends might give you quick fixes, but gifts and diamonds are a recipe for disaster! Parent town is another good community to seek help! f) be genuine. If all of this does not work, maybe you are doing something wrong. Or maybe, she does not understand the efforts you are putting in. in that case, go to the drawing board and start again by finding the right mate.
