For me, it depends on the expectations you and your partner both agreed on. If you are uncomfortable on certain things concerning showing interest or attraction to another person (be it flirting or having a secretive kind of friendship), then your partner should acknowledge those and respect how you feel. Same goes if your partner feels the same way.
