Hey mommy, to be honest, at the start, it will not be easy for both mommy n LO. your LO being older and more aware... you need to keep telling him/her that he/she is going to school soon and there are many friends there. For us mommies, it is v hard to "let go". I sent my 3.5mo to ifc, 2 weeks b4 i went bk to my full time job. It was hell for me for the first week, esp first few days. I cried as I left her in the teacher's arms. I lost my appetite and felt so lost with the sudden 'freedom' I had for that morning. For the entire day I kept checking my hp to see if the ifc teachers might call me etc... I could not concentrate on anything. I am not frightening you but I am just being realistic. I had only 2 weeks to psych myself. Your 2 months adjustments will be very good. Start with shorter hours for the first week so as to be easy for yourself n LO. Then you slowly make it longer. When you leave CC, do not just rush away when LO is not looking/crying. Give him/her a hug n kiss each time and wish him/her a great day. Always smile and reassure LO to have fun and you/papa will pick him/her up later. Don't look and sound sad yourself coz they will feel it too. It is never easy... but once LO settles down in the good hands of the teachers and enjoys CC, you will feel comforted. For now, keep prepping LO for cc/sch by speaking to him/her. All the best :)

Thanks for your advise. But I think mayb it might be a little different cuz my LO is turning 20 months. I finally found the courage to send her to a CC n get back to work which I missed alot. But it's like a complicated situation for me; I am happy to go back to work but I am not sure how I will feel when I send her to cc as I have been with her since forever ... 😂😂😂

Sooner or later they will get used to it. Of cos, be prepared for ur child to cry on his 1st day of school. The cc teachers will be able to take care of & calm them down.

Initially,u will be more anxious than them, but believe me.. they will adjust better than u thought...give it some time..everything will be ok..

thanks
