How can I stop my child to intentionally spill her milk? Like she loves pouring the remainder on the floor.

Fuuuh. This one depends heavily on the age of your child and also what kind of method you are feeding your child milk. If your child is doing it to get attention, you might either choose to ignore it, so she realize that it's pointless to do it because it gets her nowhere. OR you can choose to show her consequence. If she spills her milk, take away her favourite toy, infront of her. Then you show an example of how to NOT spill milk, then poof the toy returns. Get the pattern set up so she can see the consequence it. Theres a very good chance she might not do it again once she sees that her toy is in jeopardy. It worked for my brother last time when we were still kids. He was about 5 years old, so he could understand his actions have consequences. Just try lor see how it goes. How old is your child? If she is old enough to understand, you can try this method: My late grandmother used to tell us that we shouldn't waste food and drinks because there are other kids out there that don't even have food. She'd also tell us that the food will "cry" if we wasted them. It sounds silly looking back but I find myself saying the same things to my nieces and nephews to prevent them from wasting and it works. You can also tell them that spilled milk will attract insects like ants and cockroaches. I find this technique to be effective too haha.

If it were to happen to my toddler (3 years old) I will get him to clean up the floor himself. he have to learn what will happen AFTER he spills the milk. He needs to know that someone have to clean it up. They may be doing it as a form of way trying to get our attention. After getting them to clean up, explain to them why and ask what happen. Why are they doing this instead.

how old is your daughter? you need to always remind her that what she has done is not right. If she's old enough to understand, give her a little punishment like cleaning spilled milk by her self. this will teach her about responsibility. if she keep spill her milk, do this repeatedly and you will see the result :)

I think the best way to go about it is to distract her. As her mum, you probably know the signs when your daughter is about to spill her milk. A few minutes before this, either take her cup away or distract her with something else (and fun) that she likes.

Get a spill proof cup/bottle! When she realises that the milk doesn't come out, she will stop doing that over time. You can purchase them at Kiddy Palace or Toys 'r' us.
